HITEC 50 Awards Nomination

The HITEC 50 Awards recognize the top 50 most influential and notable Hispanic executives and entrepreneurs in the technology industry across Latin America, Spain, and Portugal. The awards celebrate their accomplishments and contributions to architecting growth.  

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. Hispanic Descent: Candidates must be of Hispanic descent. 

2. Geographical Scope: Candidates must be residing in Latin America, Spain, or Portugal and have country, regional (more than one country), or global responsibility. 

3. Executive Level: Candidates must be working at the Executive level, including but not limited to CIOs, CTOs, and other C-suite positions. 

4. Leadership and Impact: Candidates must have demonstrated significant leadership and impact within their organization and the technology industry. 

5. Community Engagement: Candidates must be actively involved in community engagement and promoting diversity within the technology sector. 

6. Achievements and Recognition: Candidates must have a proven track record of achievements and recognition in their field. 

Nomination Process: 

• Nominations: Nominations can be submitted by peers, colleagues, or self-nominations. Each nominator must provide detailed information about the candidate's qualifications and achievements. 

• Supporting Documents: Nominations must include supporting documents such as a resume, biography, and any relevant awards or recognitions. 

• Selection Committee: The HITEC Awards Selection Committee will review all nominations and select the final awardees based on the criteria mentioned above. It is HITEC policy to recognize up to two awardees per organization if they meet the criteria.

RESTRICTIONS:

• Cannot be nominated if a Hall of Fame Inductee
• Cannot be awarded if not aligned with HITEC mission and values
• Cannot be currently participating in the EEP program

The Awards Committee will review applications focusing on the following areas:

• Scope of work
• Aligns with HITEC values
• Community engagement
• Impact on tech
• Achievements and accolades

The HITEC 50 award program has become more and more competitive each year. Meeting the criteria does not guarantee selection, as the Awards Committee reviews various components of each nominee's candidacy.
